BIG NEWS for rural women in South Punjab! The "Livestock Assets Transfer" project is set to open for online registration starting November 1, 2024. This initiative, spearheaded by Director General Livestock South Punjab, Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, aims to empower women, including widows and divorcees, by providing livestock assets to enhance their livelihoods.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Valid CNIC
- Registered mobile SIM card
- Under 55 years old
- Have not received livestock through government programs in the past five years
How to Apply
- Download the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) app, titled "Livestock Assets Transfer."
- Apply online with the required documents.
Project Details
- Total Livestock: 11,000 cattle allocated across 13 districts.
- Selection Process: Recipients will be chosen through a balloting process.
- Verification: The Urban Unit will verify eligibility and share approved data with PITB.
